Dear Karen, I enjoy your website and the gifts you have for all of us who go to your site. Although these gifts seem to be your art, clip art and techniques, your commentary about your life and experiences is greater than everything put together.
Thank you!

Thanks for the beautiful photos of San Francisco & the commentary. I lived in Richmond until age 17 & wanted to study at the DeYoung in SF. Fate did not allow that but at age 59 I am an artist working in Iowa. Life's funny. The images you published mean a lot to me.

Thanks.

Tears again! I have kept my moms ring hidden in the back of a drawer because it was too upsetting to look at it. I will take it out now and wear it.

A lovely account of treasures and memories inter-mingling... I have my father's snowshoes because he wanted me to use them. My brother is working on my mother to persuade her to get them from me so he can have them. People can try to ruin things, but we hold on to the best part- the love that goes on forever when dear ones depart this life for the next phase. I miss my father very much... It wasn't Alzheimer's that killed him.
Blessings! KRC

I love this story. When my grandmother died, I got the necklace she wore for as long as I could remember. I, too, have the lovely antique diamonds. There's something special about knowing that a family member has had these before us, isn't there?
